Because of the coronavirus outbreak, we cannot guarantee having sufficient medical cover for this event so it has been postponed until Saturday October 3rd, 2020.

The inaugural running of this challenge event will take place on October 3rd. 2020. The race distance will be 50.3 km (31.25 miles) and the total ascent and descent is 5,361ft (1634m). Most of the race will be off road with some short road sections including the hellish steep ascent (25%) of the iconic Devil's staircase. The race will test endurance and stamina but will reward the runner with a fantastic and lasting memorable experience.

The race will start and finish in the centre of Llanwrtyd at 09:00 and the route will be on a mixture of tarmac road, forest tracks and farmland.

The course will be marshalled and waymarked with water points and two feed stations providing cold and hot drinks, bananas, cakes and sweets. At the finish there will be Welsh cawl and a vegetarian alternative on offer. Each runner will receive a unique devil medal and there will be prizes for the first three male and female runners. A technical T Shirt is included in the entry fee of £45.
